Who made the Czech add-on??

Anyone remember who was working on this? It's for the Soviet allied Czech forces 3/43-45, I came upon it on my old Talonsoft array of installs, in a mods folder, I know I didn't make it, but was going to continue it if someone didn't claim it? If the person who did it wouldn't mind getting in touch with me, I would appreciate it!

My first offer to original JTCS team (before Jason steps in) to prepare Czechoslovak army for this version was unanswered
I 'm waiting for 1.03 patch to see new units and changes and I hope that I'll convince Jason to incorporate new nationality in next patch [;)]
For Talonsoft version addon there are three scenarios available

I don't know my history very well. Was this a Czech army under a Czech flag or Czech soldiers under a Soviet flag? Czechoslovakia as a country ceased to exist in 1938 or early 1939, so these must be Czech soldiers under a Soviet flag, unless the Soviets already had a communist Czech government they were sponsoring. If they were Czech soldiers under a Soviet flag, how did enough Czech soldiers end up in the Soviet Union to form a Czech army? I would have thought Germany would have consumed all the available Czech manpower for either fighting or manufacturing goods.
Are there any plans for a Czech OOB for 1938 to resist the German seizure of the Sudetenland?

No, it was Czechoslovak army under Czechoslovak flag.
In this addon I created Independent Czechoslovak Army Corps in USSR, formed in 1943 under the agreement signed by Czechoslovakian Goverment in Exile (London) and Moscow. At the first stage (till autumn 1944), core of this unit was formed from Czechoslovak Legion that was in Poland during Russian occupation, Legion was disarmed and interned (but no inprisoned). Later they were reinforced by Czechoslovak citizens released from Gulags and from areas near Volyne where was czech settlements since Tzarist era. Officers and NCO was sent from London, they were very experienced from Russian Civil War and later from fights in Africa (one czechoslovak battalion defended Tobruk).
Soviet goverment sent them best equipment available (semi automatic rifles SVT-40 for example). During this era, soldiers was excellent trained and very highly motived, they want be better then Soviet Guards troops and revenge on Nazis for occupation.
there is not enough info in english ... but see this page

Many thanks, Arkady. That's precisely what I was looking for.
Are there any plans for a 1938 Czech OOB? Any scenarios would have to be hypotheticals, of course. My impression was Czechoslovokia wanted to fight and would have fought if France and Great Britain had not abandoned them.

As JTCS increased year range, I'll probably make units for late thirties too.

That makes sense. The original TalonSoft game did not go back as far as 1938.
The Operational Art of War game has a scenario entitled "Fall Grun," I believe, that deals with a hypothetical war between Germany and Czechoslovakia in 1938. I don't know if that would prove helpful or not.

Little update, I'm working now on Czechoslovakia Army mod, I hope that in some future will be added as new nation to CS (patch 1.05 or 1.06 or later)
Now finished units (platoons) from pre-war era (till spring 1939), not so hard, some equipments was acquired to Wehrmacht, some items was exported and already presented in CS (Romanian and Yugoslavian artillery from Skoda production etc)
Units from WWII (East Front equipment) was copied from my Talonsoft's version addon
I omit West front, as Czechoslovakian units fought only in Tobruk (one infantry battalion, later re-equiped to anti-air defense role) and later in war (1944-45) only one armoured brigade was sent to besiege Dunkerque.
No I need finish post war TOE, for a very short period of time, mixed equipment was used but after 1948, only russian equipment was left in the army. I'm not sure if I really need create this part as Czechoslovakia should be allied nation and for cold war scenarios axis version of the Soviet can be used as well. Maybe I'll make TOE till 1949-50 for some hypothetical early-Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia.
But I have different problem now, unit graphic, I'm not so gifted in 3D pixel art and all my units looks very ugly...I'm looking for someone who want helps me. Few units need to be created from scratch, other need changed camo.
Anyone..please ?
Can not offer much...just my thanks and few new scenarios for community that will be delivered with this addon.

Arkady, I believe the OA vz. 23 appears as part of the Romanian OOB. I believe it appears in "Victory or Death." I don't know what kind of graphics were used. I like the photo though.

Ahh, that is the OA vz.30/T-72, the one he refers to is the PA-II, or "Zelva" (Turtle), unofficially called the OA vz. 23. There were a total of 12 made between 1924-1925, 3 sold to the Vienna Police in 1927. This would be a very difficult graphic to make, with the shading and all, I can try, but.... Does anyone have some pics of front/rear, sides?
