hello all,
i just put witp on a laptop with vista. seems to work fine except for two problems. no automatic convoys. i noticed this when pearl harbor ran out of beer. the swabbies were pissed! also, when i go to change an aircraft upgrade, i get two choices...default or none. i didnt have these proplems on the computer with xp. i am playing the may 1942 campaign game.

Don't EVER use automatic convoys... not ever...

Repeat this mantra: DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON COMPUTER CONTROL... DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON COMPUTER CONTROL... DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON COMPUTER CONTROL...

As far as the upgrades - sounds like you did not click on PDU'S ON when you started the game.

EDIT: After reading your post for the third time - are you saying your automatic convoys vanished? Or there isn't an option? Or something else... (which is what i originally assumed...) [&:]

Thanks, I discovered the proper PDU for upgrades after posting.  As for automatic convoys, they never started.  They worked on Windows XP.  I was just concerned that something else might not be right and I just dont know it yet.  And I will repeat the Mantra.
While we are here, where does one download the scenarios that I have been reading about as I review the forums?

This IS worrisome!

i haven't heard of anyone else having this problem, but most players don't use automatic convoy, so maybe the folks with VISTA haven't looked for it...

I haven't seen it.  Works fine on all 3 of my Vista Machines.

Good - this means probably something went wrong with khyberbill's installation somehow... and a reinstall MIGHT fix it.

It turns out that one of the patches didnt get patched for whatever reason and now works fine in stock. However, I cant run CHS in Vista. Andrew Browns maps dont load.
