Everyone around here always mentions Front Office football and compare MF to it. There is a 2007 FOF sim avaliable, how does this compare with older FOF and the current Max?

Totally different types of games. FOF is a text management sim. Draft, sign free agents, basically assemble teams like a GM. MaxFB is a graphical game, with the option for arcade play, much like Front Page Sports Football Pro used to be. I think in FOF you can call plays (I have not bought FOF since EA published it a few years back), but there is no PDS like in MaxFB. I like arcade play, so there is no contest for me. Not that I wouldn't like to see the games combined . . .

That is correct. FOF is a text based games with some nice sim features. It is not much like Maximum Football, as the latter is a physics based graphic game.

I agree. Maximum Football is a lot more like FBPro.

I play arcade and coach mode. I would never buy FOF because it doen't have graphics, PDS, AFL and CFL style play or any of the other things that make Maximum Football a great game.
