This game restarts just over midway down on page two, so please do not waste too much time reading the first page and a half. The restart was not caused by a mod issue.

I do not normally post combat reports but figured I would share my turn one pain with everybody. Mike has been restrained. The Japs in Nemo are really ready for war, so he has done me a big favour sticking to a relatively normal turn one target list. My only gripe is the raid on Singapore which achieved a little too much due to surprise being in effect. I think in reality AA guns would have been fully manned and more fighters would have been up, but I will live with it...

I will post more details when I get the actual turn and can see what sort of damage has been done. PH looks like it has gotten off lightly, but Mike does like to hang around for days to do the job properly! Manila always hurts and Mike hates USS Boise so it looks like she was a priority target.

Russia is active but will remain neutral unless provoked or if by mid 1943 Mike's force levels in the Japanese controlled area are substantially below what is required to put Uncle Joe off. He really hates my subs, so goes for Manila in a big way. It sort of works because I have to divert subs from offensive operations to remove fragments from the PI, but come mid 1942 he'll still be hating my subs [:D].

48 Spits -- Yeah they are a one shot deal which is designed to give the Brits the ability to deploy a nice Spit unit prior to May 1942. The intention is that they should be able to fight off the Zeroes of KB if KB decides to go deep. OTOH I don't think may players will ever wait until that time to use them and will fritter them away to gain purely tactical advantage at the front.
 
RTAF Hawk: That's weird, can you give me the ID number of that fragment and I'll check on it myself in-game.

This will take a while as there is lots to do and I can only give so much time to it at the moment, so I will post as I go.

These are the ships with the most damage at PH. Mike is sure to attack again, which is ok as I have subs out after him and my flak is the only thing that is harming him at the moment.

Here is the current postion of the KB. I am send sub minelayers out to Kwajalein and Wake. USS Tautog is heading to mine Palau before moving on to help out at Manila. I have West Coast based subs doing similar. My CVs and my surface action group are heading for Canton Island. I am very tempted to zip over to Wake, but it would leave me trapped between Kwajalein and the KB. It's going to be a long hard war and I will not have any real CV strength until 1943, so must be cautious...

Saratoga is moving to SF from San Diego with a heavy DD escort. 40th US Division has been assigned to SOPAC and is preparing for Suva. This Division and the Marines are all heading for San Francisco too. I am switching off all Naval and Merchant shipyard repairs, as they do not do anything for the Allies apart from eat supply. As there are no supply sinks I am leaving everything else on. Only the Oil, HI, Res, Aircraft Factories and some repair yards seem to work, so I will not worry about all the 0 size entities.

I forgot to switch off replacements for one P-40B squadron on the West Coast and it used up my meagre supply of relacement airframes. I will have to look at production lebvels for the P-40E when I next go into the game. 11th BG has transferred to SWPAC and has flown to Palmyra.

You better look at the objectives of your LCU, particularly static CD in Australia.  Many static units, which can not move, are tasked with an objective which is not their current location.
 
You also have two units (one static) located on beaches.  You should determine early on whether you should extract the units or convert the beaches to bases because if they remain as beaches, the amount of supply which can be stockpiled is limited and you will constantly be moving supply convoys along easily raided SLOC.

I think you might have a bad install. Sometimes you do get fragments created in weird places but I've NEVER seen that fragment appear there... I've just tried 5 games on my computer and i've never seen it... That unit should be in Ban Don ( and in my starts begins the game precisely there ).

I think this is probably just a little hiccup if all you are seeing is one fragment in the wrong place but tell me about any other weirdnesses and I'll check into them and let you know what I find... Following discussion with Alfred I'm making a few more tweaks to the balance of the mod and could send you both the latest version if you had to restart.

To round off CenPac, 161st RCT has been assigned to SOPAC and is loading onto transports at Seattle bound for Canton Island. Ships and escorts are heading for Kodiak to begin transporting 201st RCT to Dutch Harbor.

It is shame these big birds are being smashed on the ground at PH for at least the next two turns if Mike plays true to form. I could have started to hit Mike where it hurts with that range. As a way of achieving that range they have been given a big speed boost, so I'd imagine they are hard to stop. I am not looking forward to facing Mike's 2 Messerchmitt VLR bombers!

Cool, one of those should be 105th BF obviously. They are both still co-located as the intent is to allow one to go to Hobart or be easily shipped to Melbourne. I've made the change and incorporated it into V1.3
