For a game running on v1.02g

May 1805. Austria, Prussia, Russia and GB at war with France.

Both Austria and Prussia doing well on the PP scale, although Prussia has suffered a major defeat.

Would there be any takers if we were running something other than 1.02G ?

that may be part of it. I know G had so many bugs it was unplayable. the new patch, while not perfect, seems much better!

That's odd because I've played for some time in three games with the G patch and none of them seem to have been 'unplayable' in the least.

It would probably help to run the latest patch, which I believe is 1.02k

The game has so many bugs that each new patch (as long as there is nothing catastrophic in it) is welcomed.

Gotta agree 1.02g  is very flawed, gotta love those minors who can go conquered without their capitals besieged.

Probably not too many players left that have not upgraded as well. Plus, being only in May and having lost two players, it would seem to be better to restart/rebid than look to replace the players.

I'd be glad to replace a player for you.  Two things to note: one, I have never played PBEM EIA before so you'd have to have some patience.  two, I'm in the military and work 48 hours on/48 hours off.  During the 48 hours on I have no computer access.  So any of my turns would have to wait until I was off.  If you can handle the above let me know how to join.

Inexperience in PBEM isn't a great problem (we all started that way), not sure about your availability though, I will have to put it to the group. We are currently playing 24 hour turn around.
