I would be happy for a game, but i prefer oil on , fog on, . Any side would do me.

Oil off is too easy for the Germans, but if you're new to the game I'm willing to do it.

If you have a Matrix copy I'll take the other game - agree to your options. Let me know who's Axis.

I have been frustrated in trying to get a PBEM, see other posts here. I was shocked to discover that if you get the game from Slitherine it is not compatible with the one purchased from Matrix!!

I'm not sure why you think Matrix & Slitherine versions are not coptabile as that's completely untrue. The MAC and PC versions are not compatible, maybe you are getting mixed up.

untrue or not - here are the facts -- tried playing 3 players with a matrix download -- would get a version display problem -- are playing 4 ( and 1 online ) - with slitherine downloads - no problem - and 1 player who i know well - had to buy a 2nd game from slithrine so we could play - his matrix would not work -- and i have posted this at the slithrine site too -- take a poll whos playing who with what copys from where -- am open minded -- and yes they all had the update done too 1.06 [X(]

There are some technical issues which we're working to sort out, but these stop you playing at all rather than connecting to another player with a specific game, but the versions are basically the same. We've had to make quite a lot of changes to the file handling system to fix these issues and we're testing them at the moment in CNAW before we fit them in to CEAW.
