Is there a manual that is in text format and not scans of the book?
I would like to print one out but that would be too much.

We're actually not allowed to release the manual in any form other than the one that comes through Matrix that you have now.  I'm not quite sure of the legal or other reasons why this is so, but this is what I have been told several times when we looked into releasing the manual in other forms.

I don't know enough about pdf editing personally to be able to recommend any procedure with confidence, but I'm sure there must be a way to do it.  You may be able to just copy the text from the file open in Acrobat and then paste the plain text into Word or something.

Load manual into Acrobat, then save as text from File menu.

That works with the free Acrobat, or just the one you have to pay for?!?
