Any clues what went wrong here and how to correct it, please? The island is currently under attack and those forts are vital..

This sometimes manifests itself when forts are reduced through combat the same time as your engineers are building a new level. It will correct itself next turn - the game code formula just gets a bit confused[&:]

Are you the Japanese player or the allied player? The base is listed as a IJ Army Base, but is assigned to the North Pacific HQ (Allied)

I´m playing US. Captured this base 2-3 weeks ago.. I have captured also Omnetokan Jima. It is listed as IJA base too, but forts were build normally..

It probably isn't anything that the base is listed as a IJ Army Base, then. IIRC, this is normal and the base shows what ever it was at the start of the game.

You might stop fort construction for a turn, but the % might drop to 0%

I will wait one more turn to see what will happen and then will try to halt construction. If the base will not fall today of course.. [;)]

Hi all,
next turn passed and the forts are lvl 1 and 30% towards lvl 2.. As Tallyho mentioned, the problem was probably that I was just about to finish Lvl 2 when japanese attack destroyed Lvl 1. It seems corrected now..
