I'll take the challenge. Send me your e-mail and preferred house rules. I bet you'll loose. There is no way Soviets can win '41 if 2 conditions are met:
1. no cheating;
2. experienced German player.

2nd week of war:
Plenty of Soviet forces previously encircled destroyed:

Mechanized corps: 3rd,4th,6th,11th,15th,22nd
Infantry: 24th Latvian, 29th Lithuanian, 6th, 3rd, 15th, 21st, 12th, 5th, 87th, 16th, 65th.
6th Cavalry corps destroyed.

Exact Soviet losses are unknown but approx. 5000 AFV have been destroyed/captured so far.

While bombing Rostov our bombers were intercepted by Soviet fighters, we found their bases southern to the city and bombed them. Similarly we found some hidden planes near Voronezh and Tula. Additionaly some reserves near Moscow have been destroyed. It's estimated Soviets lost approx. 1500 planes.

Leningrad, Tula, Kiev, Kharkov, Rostov and Bryansk have been bombed.

Cities taken: Lwow, Wilno, Grodno, Kowno, Ryga, Daugavpils, Minsk.

As Hitler put it: We have only to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down.

3rd week of war (July 6th '41)

Wehrmacht has been busy cleaning up what left behind our panzers.

Heeresgruppe Sued: Zhitomir and Odessa have been taken, both without any fight. No garrisons.

The following units have been destroyed:
infantry corps: 8th, 11th, 28th, 37th, 87th, 88th, 4th Shock Army, 4th Airborne
mechanized corps: 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 17th, 19th, 21st
HQs: Northwest Front, Southern Front, Volkov Front

The Luftwaffe bombed Leningrad, Moscow, Briansk, Tula, Kiev, Stalino and Voronezh + plenty of airfields (near Moscow, Orel, Rostov). Heavy casualties while bombing airfields near Moscow.

Losses:
Axis:
inf. 126/760
AFVs: 1/161
Guns: 11/37
Planes: 107/401

Soviets:
inf.: 4201/15529
AFVs: 1196/5886
Guns: 1543/5614
Planes: 452/8199

There is no such thing as an organized frontline: just plenty of German panzers speeding east and infantry which is trying desperately to catch up. OKW expects Soviets to try to defend Dnepr line, maybe Pskov, Mogilev and Vitebsk although after giving up Zhitomir and Odessa everything is possible. Maybe the Red Menace doesn't exist anymore? Recently Stalin gave a speech on public communist radio after a week after beginning of war.

Battle report.

July 13th, 1941.

Soviets managed to catch German railworkers near Riga, march toward Leningrad will be slowed down. It seems there is a kind of masterplan in Stavka: they desperately try to break supply lines. Kind of sabotage instead of fight.

Bad message from German engineers: they examined captured Soviet tanks and the results are not encouraging: Russians have fierce killing machines called T-34 and KV-1. They are technologically backward with obsolete systems, have no radio, but their powerful (although of poor quality) armor and 76 mm cannon are scary. OKW issued orders to German tank crews not to engage in fight with those monsters but call for aerial support and 88 flak cannons. There is a strong need for new tanks and new antitank guns. But will German industry produce them before Soviet surrender? Fortunately other Soviet tanks like T-26 and BT series are much less dangerous. We also captured monsters called T-35. Funny tanks and totally useless.

Good news from engineers: captured airplanes suggest VVS uses obsolete equipment which is totally inferior to anything Luftwaffe has. Their 'fighters' could be a fierce enemy 10-15 years ago but not now. Their newest MiGs, LaGGs and Yaks can be compared to Italian Re-200 or planes used by Romanians, but not to BF-109. Anyhow, because of Spitfires we abandoned production of BFs for the sake of Fw-190.

From the front:
Wehrmacht is pushing forward. Not many fights because there were not many enemy units. Our losses minimal, no AFVs lost, they lost approx. 1400 inf. squads, 100 AFVs, 300 planes.

Very successful bombing of Leningrad and some damages to Moscow, Tula, Kharkov, Stalino, Dnepropetrovsk. We have reached Kiev in the south.
