lost a league after renaming it

MaxFB newbie here. After setting up a new league and saving it, I decided I didn't like the name so I re-named it and changed the abbreviation too. Now when I scroll through my leagues, the name shows up blank. When I try to edit, all the info for that league is gone.
I tried going back and editing the league database to change back to the old name/abbrev but my league still does not show up. Any idea how I can recover it?

Welcome to MaxFB pinball. I have no idea on a quick way to do this. I do it by just deleting the league and starting over, but I am sure there is a faster way.

There is also a table in the maindata.mdb called 'Leagues'
Check that also and make sure the entry for the league you are working with is there.
Make sure the ID of the league matches that entry in the Maindata. And if there is a separate entry for a league that doesnt exist, get rid of it.
Changing the league info in the league file without making sure it meshes with the info in the maindata, might be causing the issue.

I have also seen this happen
a quick fix, rename it back again, not a solve for your problem
but it worked for me, at least you'll have your league back.

Thanks folks. The Maindata db was the key. Went in there and changed back the league name/abbrev and it was recovered.
