This can be as simple as a typo in the information you entered or an extra leading or trailing space. 99% of the time when we see this it comes down to some kind of typo. E-mail me with your order number if you can't get around this and I'll ask store support to contact you and check the order info.

Fortunately my brother has a paypal account, so the second method worked fine.

If it saves you some time, I had the same problem (although I wouldn't swear the error number was the same). The solution was to ignore it, go to 'support' armed with my credit card details and choose the re-download option.

Erik, I have a suspicion (only) it might have something to do with cookie enabling settings in IE? I did get a message about enabling cookies at some stage of the process but I wasn't really paying attention and can't recall where... sorry![:(]

Oh.. and I got two confirmation e-mails, identical and issued at the same time (although I'll check I wasn't billed twice!). Don't know if that's relevant.
