Hi

As I understand from the manual, if you dismiss i.e. a theater commander (because you want an other or you need this guy as an unit commander) this leader looses command points and it costs political points.
The question now is this: It seems you can switch ACs to TCs and vice verse without any loss, but if you want an AC or TC back to unit commander then you have to dismiss him and pay the PP and CP? Is this correct or is there a way to not loose at least the command points?

You have to dismiss a TC or AC if you want him back as a Unit Commander. No way to avoid the loss in Command Rating (and the political rating of the leader goes to 1).

I just ran a test, it seems your correct on both issues...
