OK, so been playing PBEM fine until now.

Started a new game and saved turn and sent to my comrade. He opens fine does the turn and emails back. I open and I get a read file error and then it blows up ef.exe.

We are both on the new 1.03 load.

Ideas?

I got this when a friend of mine thought he had installed the patch, but forgot to change the default install path to the actual path of his game install. In other words, he accidentally installed the patch on his C drive while his game was located on his D drive.

yep, forgot I had placed the game in program files
