I keep talking to my wife about making a weekend trip to the 'Burgh, and I have yet to read a negative thing about the atmosphere at PNC. I read Padres Fan's comments on the Baseball Fever forum, and I'm sure I'd love it.

I haven't been to a Pirates game since 1986. While I play Pure Sim with the BROOKLYN Dodgers, my favorite still-existent team (more or less these days [8|]) is the Pirates.

Last year, I made a business trip to Pittsburgh and I scheduled this junket during a Pirates homestand.  The stadium is beautiful with a stunning panorama of the city beyond right field.  The city has also re-done some of its riverfront in conjunction with the new stadiums.  We had dinner downtown and than took a ferry over to the stadium to catch the game.
 
Make the trip, it is worth it.
