Five maintenance updates are available for the following Addins:
POSTSEASON
SABERPACK
PROSPECTS
TEAMEVALUATIONS
ERRORS-CURRENT
I would be interested in hearing whether the POSTSEASON fixes problems that some were experiencing with their associations.
Also, a new Addin has been added:
DIAMOND KINGS - your associations best fielders at all positions. Will show the Top 3 at each position if they meet the required threshhold.

Post Season works great here !! [:D]
I do have one question though :
The "Top 25 Homerun Hitters" for each cluub have never worked for me. Do I need to go a few years for it to work ??
Thanks Crash for all the Add-Ins !! [&o]

"Top 25 Homeruns"? Is that the name of the addin? I don't think that one is mine.

I just noticed something with the Triple Crown add-in. At least on my system, it's showing American Leaguers under National League and National Leaguers under American League.

I'm not really sure how that could occur, Wrath.
Code: Select all
Set rs1 = db.OpenRecordset("SELECT Awards.PlayerID, Awards.YearNumber, Awards.LeagueID, Awards.fValue AS AVG, " & _
"Awards_1.fValue AS HR, Awards_2.fValue AS RBI, Player.Retired, Player.PrimaryPOS " & _
"FROM ((Awards INNER JOIN Player ON Awards.PlayerID = Player.PlayerID) INNER JOIN Awards AS Awards_1 ON " & _
"(Awards.LeagueID = Awards_1.LeagueID) AND (Awards.YearNumber = Awards_1.YearNumber) AND " & _
"(Awards.PlayerID = Awards_1.PlayerID)) INNER JOIN Awards AS Awards_2 ON (Awards.LeagueID = Awards_2.LeagueID) " & _
"AND (Awards.YearNumber = Awards_2.YearNumber) AND (Awards.PlayerID = Awards_2.PlayerID) " & _
"GROUP BY Awards.PlayerID, Awards.YearNumber, Awards.LeagueID, Awards.fValue, Awards_1.fValue, Awards_2.fValue, " & _
"Awards.AwardID, Awards_1.AwardID, Awards_2.AwardID, Player.Retired, Player.PrimaryPOS " & _
"Having (((Awards.LeagueID) = 1) And ((Awards.AwardID) = 4) And ((Awards_1.AwardID) = 8) And " & _
"((Awards_2.AwardID) = 15)) " & _
"ORDER BY Awards.YearNumber", dbOpenDynaset)
s = s & "<br><CENTER style='color:white;font-size:8pt;background-color:green'>Triple Crown Winners - AL Batters</CENTER><BR>"
The league ID is being pulled from the Awards table for this addon, not the Teams table. Did you make any changes - outside of PureSim - to the LeagueID for any teams in this association?
Also, it is assumed that your LeagueID #1 is also your American League teams - since that is the default PureSim uses when creating an association.
Question: Is this occuring to only a select few players on this list(s) or every one on the list(s)?

I'm posting an image that shows a portion of what I see on my end. Note how Pittsburgh is under American League and Cleveland is under National League.
I imagine, based on what you've written, that this because I started in 1900 with just the National League. I expanded for 1901 adding the American League as a new league, so when you look at my standings you see NL on top and AL on bottom.
EDIT: What would happen if you aren't using AL and NL, but running a fictional association?

Real or Fictional League: Whichever league is "on top" (ie., appears first in standings) is assigned League ID #1 and the other will be League ID #2.
For real association purposes, and by PureSim default, this is always understood to be AL first and then NL second.
Your situation is a scenario I had not aniticpated when creating the addon and it is indeed the reason why they appear switched. I will need to think about this more and see if there isn't a reasonable way to account for this scenario in the addon.

It's no biggie. In fact I never even noticed it until the other day. Leave it to me to do things backwards! I can never just leave things alone.

Triple Crown updated. The fix was simple enough and should now account for associations that start up with only 1 league. In addition, the league names are no longer hard coded, they are pulled from database, so fictional leagues with names other than AL or NL should display properly.

P.S. Anyone using 3 or more leagues in an association, give me shout, please.

Crash, do I need to download both addin's links or will just the second one get me all of it?
Thanks

By "both" I assume you mean Triple Crowns and PSPN Baseball? Yes, will need to DL from the two links on my web page.
