Enough of the graphics for COG:EE are finished for us to be able to start posting some. I'll start off with screenshots showing the overview screens, the completely new strategic map (new look, 75 new provinces), and the new zoom feature on the strategic map (we also have it for detailed combat, but those screenshots will have to wait).
First, here's the English Channel zoomed in all the way (= the view you're used to).

I'm playing England, and am uncertain about France's forces in the north, in terms of their strength and/or location.

And I didn't even know (or had forgotten) that you were doing a zoom-feature, both for strategic and tactical maps - wonderful!
Now for the questions [:)]:
The battle history screen looks beautiful. I assume there is a unit screen too, looking just as beautiful (right?!). My question is, is it possible to sort by the different columns? I really missed a sort-feature on the unit screens in FOF.
The flag icons for armies are pretty and they worked well in FOF, but I always thought the small men and generals on their horses added so much atmosphere to the map. Have you considered doing a "humanoid" army-icon? Like three men in line formation or a soldier/general holding the flag. It would really add to the atmosphere of the beautiful maps, I think.
Again, I have to stress, the zoom-feature is great and the full zoomed-out view of Europe is to die for. And when you're done with COG:EE I assume you start to implement the zoom-feature (and other cool innovations) into FOF, right?
And last question:
What are the chances that you will make Denmark a playable faction if I promise to completely spam the forums with requests and partitions regarding this over the next few months?
And what are the chances of it happening if I instead promise to behave myself...?

It's already possible to sort by unit in FOF, but you have to turn off the "hierarchy" button to do so. COG will also allow such sorting.

We'd like to do that at some point. No promises when that would be.

Save your energies for some other cause: we're looking into adding scenarios in which one replaces Sweden with Denmark, Portugal, Bavaria or Poland.

Looks fantastic. Being able to zoom back on the campaign map is something I'd always hoped for.
Can't wait to see the new zoom features for the tactical map.
