Has online security been taken into consideration yet?
Its truly pathetic that practically any online game no matter how small will have those that want to cheat.

Try v1.4 internet battle. One of the 4 players is hosting the game. You either play random generated titans/jocks or you have to send your team to the host. At the moment you have to do it manually (ICQ file transfer or email or whatever). Tell me obvious cheat possibilities and I try to fix them. Since your data is at the hosts house he can check if he wants too. ToS internet will not connect to one big dedicated server like battlenet. This might be interesting for the future but will be no feature of ToS WS.

No public servers? That's a surprise, glad I asked the question.
Sounds like you got security covered then. No publics then no need for any.

Hope we will meet online nevertheless. Internet battles were added as a an extension to LAN capabilty and soon found interest from players who were tired to play the AI and had no LAN.
Most of them are played as one on one duels and Naragon is scanning the forum to compile rankings. I would suggest to use ICQ as a method of choice to find partners to play. Since is a game which takes its time to complete big battles are no real choice for online gaming ( Only if you have 6 hours left to spare ). I'm adding new features to ToS WS to speed up play like players auto-move to a selectable hex location.
My ICQ is #99009262

Ya, anytime you have a turn-based game online you usually have to have a timer and limit the number of units per player. I'm curious to see the new movement system in action, it should help speed things up. Any chance of you guys doing a trailer showing it and some of the new stuff in action?

HUm online battle can also be played in cooperative mode against AI or as a storytelling old RPG mode. The possibility are limitless...
Just repeat the rule : " its 1 and 3 against 2 and 4" and you jsut can manage any event you want.
Nextstep is : share mach ( grrrr Titans ) control between the same time on the online player and make the connection 32 player friendly ( or more ).
