I have not yet had the opportunity to loan a corps. Can anybody tell me whether the "new owner" pays for supply or not? Can he pay for the corps from his own depots?

To pretty much all intents and purposes the loaned corps becomes a corp of the nation it is loaned to for purposes of supply, movement etc and most notably (and fixed in v1.03) for PP gain/loss in battle. So yes, the 'new owner' pays for supply, and indeed is the only person who can.
