Include Video Tutorials and make the expansion popular!

You can solve the biggest problem this game system has - The steep learning curve - by including video tutorials similar to those done by Joel Billings in Matrix's latest Civil Wat game.
I am one of those people who had a lot of trouble learning COG. I also had trouble learning the new game, until I went through the video tutorials. there is nothing like actually seeing the operation of the game shown in short focused demonstrations - almost like having an experienced gamer showing you how.
How about it ?

And something similar to the excellent promotion video that you made for FOF around patch 1.10.
Having such a video available at the release of COG:EE would definitely help getting people's attention...

I have prepared a guide on how to use the advanced economy. I'm waiting for the final changes to COGEE and will make it available once COGEE is released. It will help with COG, but was specifically prepared for COGEE. It's not what you're asking for, but it should help quite a bit.
Somebody on Matrix or WCS staff will have to deal with video tutorials. That's beyond what I have time for.

I was reading through bjmorgan's guide just last night, in fact. I think it will definitely help people who want to tackle the "advanced" economy. (And, of course, those who just want to play COG:EE using the much simpler economy option will be able to do so instead.)
We'll definitely be using videos in some manner, but having firmed up our plans yet.
