Is this game still supported?

If so, any chance some issues might be adressed? (might be me not getting something here, if so please enlighten me);

-in my battles I have never had more than one supply wagon, if I have a joint battle with my allies, they will get one and I will not get any.

-did Napoleon's Grand Army spend 90% of its time TRYING to get into a line formation??? Even with 80% chance it seems more like 50%... And most of my units will only have 10% chance to form a line. The biggest morale blow to my armies are from gown men crying over their inability to stand in between two other grown men in a line...

Apart from that, I like the game, makes a nice change to FoF.

how close to the enemy are you before you try to form your line ?

also, sounds like you have a low morale on a number of your units, the higher the morale, the better they are are doing things, troops with a 10% chance are not ready for toe to toe combat

how are your upgrades/reseach stuff going, right at the begining, it will be HARDer to do stuff you do with out thinking about later

Supply ? thought that was based on how many unit containers you had in the battle

Does not seem to matter, if they start out at 85% they might drop to 50% if next to the enemy, however I always form a line the first turn of battle.

Morale around 6. The troops are the ones that start in the grand armee I, led by Napoleon himself. (the unit under his direct command has 70-85% chance thou). Might be me using my FoF knowledge and assuming incorectly that morale of 6 is good enough?

just got a research thingy that allows for better chance of forming a line. Yes, I am aware that things should be harder at first, however forming a line when the enemy is still out of reach?

Well seems not, 2 armies, 6 corps all with a general, maxed out with div's and one supply train, except when the Spanish want to "help" me, when I get no supply train [:(]

it is still a die roll, thingy, at times a 10% seems better then a 90% but over all it should work out

check your units, in HW, you can right click on them and it will tell the info you need, 6 should be good, but if you getting under 95% normally it is your morale or training
also, some of the starting units are not the best you got, newly built troops from a Province with good Barrack numbers will be better, also, a depleted unit, will be taking in lower morale/trained troops to fill the ranks, that lowers the over all morale/training of the unit

yea, there are some good ones, and ones you will need, Eric always harpped on if you had this yet (of course, I forget the name of it offhand)

that one I am not sure of, I am testing the EE verison, so things have changed (in this case, much more to your liking) but overall, I remember getting more then one supply wagon, are you sure your Armees are in supply when they get into battle ?, is there a depot in the same hex/next hex as the where the battle is being fought ?

Aha! So I was doing something wrong! Thought the depot had to be in the same hex only, and since I was not allowed to build one in Austria...Will check that now. Thanks for the help [:)]

Heck maybe I will even get some reinforcements now?! Ok, memo to self: CoG is NOT FoF!!!

for depots, also remember, you can build one in a enemy lands, it just has to be next to one in your lands, you can build a chain of them across the map this way

make sure to leave guards with them, as the enemy will enter and take them out and also, remember they cost alot of money to build and leave in place, only build them when you need them, where you need them, fastest way to go broke is having too many depots on the map for no reason

check the forage levels in the province and the number of troops you got there, you got 25,000 and the province will suppost 60, you don't need one, but, those are few and far between, and not normally where you want them to be

You don't need one but you will still be considered "out of supply" for combat purposes if you're not next to one.  You just won't take foraging casualties.

ok, thanks both. It seems that was indeed where I was going wrong, tried another battle WITH a nearby depot... That helped...

Thanks!
