Is there any way to get numbers on helmets? The most notable team who has this is the University of Alabama. Numerous high schools also have this feature (in fact I can name one right outside of Indianapolis who also has numbers on their helmets), and I was curious if this was possible in MF.

Unfortunately no. This has come up previously by a few of us that wanted to recreate old NFL uniforms.

The way I understand it, the problem with having helmet numbers is that they require another layer to be added to the helmets and that might exceed the capabilities of many PC's to handle the graphics. I guess the additional layer would slow down the animation.

The Alabama helmets shown below have the numbers 58 & 82 for the years that Bear Bryant coached at Alabama. These numbers are permanent to the helmet and don't match the players' jersey numbers. The mismatch is a little weird but at least there are numbers on the helmet.

I had a team uni for a league that just had 00 on it. No particular reason, but it did give it the look of having numbers on the helmets like that alabama team does.
