I haven't yet, but the AI against me has. The CSA lost Albert Johnston at the end of round 1/beginning of round 2. It seemed the CSA in that battle under achieved.

I think I read that losing a general hurts the battle. Is that true? And then if it is an AC, then that would truly hurt the battle?

Yes, losing a leader impacts the combat after his loss in terms of both losing his combat modifiers and losing his effect on the adjusted combat strength. Losing an AC during a battle can literally turn a victory into a defeat in one shot.

Yo Eric...I finished a game against the AI Rebs at normal (finally) and in Apr 65 Lee resigned for 11 months. Does he always do that? very cool.

I have never lost an AC in battle, but I killed one once (Polk).

I also captured R.E. Lee once, which made the war in the west a cake walk.
