We are going to include many single missions in addition to the campaigns. Possibly as many as 40-50. If anyone has comments/suggestions on missions, please post them here.

How about time limit missions, like, you have 750 seconds to defeat the other side so your specialists can move in and defuse the bomb. Maybe even 300 second missions, where you have to rely on stealth and recons.

Protect the Titan missions. Setting is as follow...:

Alpha Squad (your team and brigade) has shot down a new and mysterious titan out of a transport which now has landed in the middle of nowhere. You have obtained information that The Confederation of Cydaria (the opposing side) was sending a new prototype somewhere and have sent out an opposing squad to eliminate the titan. You must prevent TCC from destroying the fallen titan so that you may recover it for studies. (This may be linked to other campaign settings such as access to new systems/weapons/designs)

P.S How hard would it be to integrate into the single player missions factory the limiting of certain options, like you can only have up to a scan 2 or BC 3 until you discover or salvage new technology.

how about a (very) violent race? basicly you get one titan (whatever kind you want) and you start seperated by wide acid rivers from the enemy titans. the objective is to get to the other end of your thin, perfectly flat track (and/or destroy your enemys in the process) before they do the same to you.

and a king of the hill-type mission where you have to keep at least one titan alive and on the top of the mountain for say, 5 game-minutes?

TOS doesn't really allow for similarly tonned titans to keep away from a pursuing titan, therefore 'run for your life' scenarios seem a little far-fetched.

BUT, if you limit your opponents to Assaults and give them only short-range weapons, your super-fast recon could propably make it through the forests.. Or the hills.. Or that riverbed in that canyon over there. Jumping up would propably cost you your life.

A recon mission would be nice - your task is to identify and pinpoint the location of ALL of your enemy titans and then rush back to report so that an airstrike (or whatever) can be directed there. Naturally, ECM and recon's speed would be quite essential here.

You could also utilize the spotters & supports combo to attack an enemy base of some sort.. Idea being that you HOPE your enemies won't spot your spotters hiding in the forests, dealing orders to your far-away supports and raining death at the base. Airdrops should be disabled in this mission.

Missions based around the swarmer idea could also work.. Say, you're facing a number of slow and cumbersome Assaults spread over a large area, and you go hunt them down with those lovely 8 Wolfpacks. Anything that would allow for drastically differing tonnages to compete fairly (one at a time vs. everyone at a time) would be nice as well.

We have had this feature in mind already, but there are a lot of more important things to be integrated in ToS-WS, so this idea made its way down to the bottom of our "todo-list". If we'll manage to put in all the stuff we definitively planned to have, maybe then we'll add this feature to ToS-WS.

Yet another.. How about a mission where the enemy has secured a seemingly invincible but quite small area and has been given orders not to leave that area? Your task is to attack that said base.

How to compete an overwhelmingly large swarm in a tightly contained area? A hint : C H A I N R E A C T I O N.. *evil grin*

If not for anything else, a bonus score (if such a thing exists) could be given on a basis of how many titans explode within, say, 5 seconds or so.
