Before the allies get LS craft, which is better to use for amphibious operations, AP's or AK's?
Thanks,

It seems to me that APs land troops with less disruption than AK. I also always try to double up the load capacity of my transport TF, so they get the troops ashore quicker.

Well the real trick is to find the APA and AKA, the attack transport and cargo since they have a slightly faster unload. Unfortunately they aren't labeled as such.

APs are a lot better than AKs.
For a list with all ships that have amphibious values, check page 99 of the manual.

APAs and AKAs will be in AE, but they are not in stock WitP.

I think you want to use the APs with small capacities because they unload troops in one turn. To me, they more or less simulate APAs in regular WitP. For the IJN (at least in BigB mod) those are the ones with a capactity of 1100.
