problem after crash

I had a big crash the other day (unrelated to TOS) and now that it is fixed (crosses fingers) my game has lost it's command center transition background and can't save the team data of the game I was in when I choose autosave to return to it. I have also lost the icon in the programs section (just noticed). Is this correctable or am I going to have to reinstall? I have version 1.4. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

You should probably re-install. This should not replace your tos files or your team files. If you do have titan designs or a team you can't afford to lose, then go ahead and copy them to a new folder, Install 1.4 again then recopy these files back into the data folder.
You probably don't have to move these at all. I've been installing/reinstalling TOS for 3 years and have yet to find a major problem.

reinstalled. Still no background or icon. Game works fine so far though.
