While waiting for AE...

We have had a few 'name your most exp pilot' or 'name your pilot with the most kills' threads in the past - let's turn this around and name the pilot with the lowest experience and a kill.

Mine is 2LT Hayasi R. with exp 46, 4 missions and one kill while piloting a Ki-61-Ib Tony in the 19th FtrSentai.

My lowest exp ace pilot is WO Juni, R. with exp 69, 32 missions and five kills piloting a Ki-43-Ib-Oscar in the 26th FtrSentai.

Mar 44. Game against the AI.

FLT Ennis, 79 Squadron (RAF) (Thunderbolt II). One kill, exp 38, 15 missions.

FLT Thompson, 76 Squadron (RAAF) (Spitfive VIII). Six kills, exp 73, 69 missions.

2/42 CHS PBEM My least experienced pilot with a kill is 1st LT "Othello" Kwan. His exp is 42 and he flies an I-16C for the 29th CAF.

I can't recall the date, but in my first game against the AI I had a B-17 pilot with 5 kills. [:D]

Only up to June 42, but I've got:

LTJG Matsumura, 1 kill, 53 exp

PO2 Kojima, 5 kills, 78 exp

Both flying A6M2's.

Of course, flying a P-38G adds considerably to one's survivability. I'm actually surprised he's in there, I don't usually let my newbies fly the good airframes (best squadrons get best airframes).

Mine is Fuchida V. 11th Fighter Sentai Ki-44 IIb Tojo. 1 kill 33 missions 53 EXP.

Nothing exceptional in terms of least experience but I do hava an oddity in stats. Both pilots are in the same unit and have the following stats.
 
2nd Lt Landes Ex95, Mis1, Kills3
1st Lt Hamilton Ex70, Mis71, Kills2

My two pilots with the least experience are Britishers in 155 Squadron, flying Spitfires.  They've each got 1 kill but only 53 Experience.

Meanwhile, the Aussies and New Zealanders hold the top 5 kill slots in my war.  Two Aussies are on top with 50 and 43 kills, and then three NZ pilots have 42-40 kills, all with 99 Exp.  At #6 is J. J. Foss of the Marines with 38 kills, flying a Corsair.

Against AI, Stock; jully 1943

FO Vryes, Dutch air Force (VI-FGVI Groep ?? or something like that)
exp 41, 77 missions, one kill, Brewster 339D. Probably against Dinah

FO KIU.B , 27 CFS, exp 42, 21 missions, one kill, I-16C. Against Sonia
(don't mess with FO KIU.S, 27e CFS; exp 61, 54 missions...no kill [;)] )


Best: Australien Ingersoll, 457 RAAF, Spit Vb; 45 kills (A6M2 or Dinah)
US Army Mahony; 24FG, P-40E then P-38G. 36 kills (A6M2 or Betty)
Australien Sturgess, 457 RAAF, Spit Vb; 34 kills (A6M2 or Dinah)
Australien Kerney, 76 RAAF, Kittyhawk I; 31 kills (A6M2; B5N; D3A)

I have a PBY pilot with 4 kills!





Okay, he was originally a fighter pilot aboard the Hornet, but when his ship was sunk he was apparently transferred to a PBY squadron.

I had a C47 Sqn with a number of Aces

I think they were pilots from disbanded USAFFE fighter sqns.

I had a pilot with 22 kills from 22 missions and my biggest waste was a P47 pilot with 9 kills after 439 missions.

He's obviously talented enough to stay alive, but he certainly needs to work on his gunnery!
