I actually got into a situation where I drew a game at the end. Such an uninteresting ending. It doesn't even say it was a draw. It just goes... "Save Game?" Although it's probably a one in a thousand games, how hard would it be to code something about "Teams both eliminated!" or something like that? <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Okay, I know it's going to probably hit rock bottom on the list if it even makes it.

(What happened was I was testing a new titan. I had already taken the heads off 2 other titans, and got a TB to a thirds head, when that guy ejected. As soon as he ejected, the legless Wolfpack I left in a burning forest next to me blew up, taking off my head.)

Heh heh, bet the jock that thought he'd won felt really stupid when he arrived wherever. I've never managed to get a draw, yet. After reading about yours, I don't think I want to, either.

I ran into a similar situation once. Basically, both teams only had one Titan left. I was on the ground with a missing leg and he was closing in for the kill. With a shot born more of luck and desperation, than skill, I managed to blow his leg off, so down he goes. The problem was that now neither one of us had LOS to the other. So I was stuck in a situation where I could hope for the miricle skill check of 2% to stand up, or wait and see if he ejects. The prospect of taking all sorts of falling damage on an already badly damaged Titan in an attempt to stand up didn't sound terrible appealing. Well, a couple hundred seconds later, we were both sitting there going, "you eject," "no, you eject," "I'm not ejecting," "well, I'm not ejecting either." Than it got into some weird dicussion about maybe Mikey will eject.

Not sure what kind of fix would be good here. I enede up loading a saved game, and got some better rolls to kill the bad guys, but I would hate to think about what would have happened if I didn't have that saved game. I didn't have near the money to pull my jocks out of the game, and I'm too stubborn to eject in a game that I'm not really losing. Ok, so I wasn't exactly winning either, but whatever. <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

Maybe something like a "Draw" button, that can only be used in certain situatins (ie, neither team has a Titan that can stand, and neither has LOS on the other). Or a button that decides the winner based on which team has the highest combat effeciency. Or maybe it's such a rar occurance that nothing needs to be done.
