HQ - How long is a Month?

When you own jocks and titans, they have a monthly salary. How often does this time period pass?

Is it 1 month real time = 1 month game time (so if you don't play ToS for 4 months, you may not have the dough to pay for your jocks/titans)?

Is it after a number of battles?

In a related note, is there a doc. somewhere that has the ins and outs of the game w/o going into pseudo-code?

one game-month equals one battle. and teh salary is how much money you *lose* from your account as pay to the jocks (they spend it on... who knows what). y'know, they have to get paid too...

I checked there, and got the TOS Guide, but back in the 1.1 and 1.2 days there was a more detailed document.

I do like the guide that came with the game, but specifially the old guide had more into on the whole "PU" energy thing. (I'm STILL not quite sure how that EXACTLY works...)

??!! A more detailed document? That's funny, I don't remember there being anything at all in those times, except for Marshall's weapon tables, but they were just that, tables with weapons' stats. It couldn't be the manual either, cause it took a major overhaul and upgrade. Maybe you're confusing things?!

About the energy/PU thing, if you read the Energy section of the manual and the Choosing an Engine for Optimum Performance part of the guide, you'll know everything that there is to know about it.
If there are specific questions you want answered, just post them here.

Warring Suns will have a 75+ page manual so everything is explained in detail. We've also included some easy tutorial missions so learning to play isn't so hard. For example, the first tutorial just concentrates on movement. No enemies. You just move around the map while text popups help explain what to do. The campaigns are also being set up to help players ease through those first few battles.
