Hi,recently i bought new laptop with Vista home premium.
Witp installs without problem,1.50 patch go first,after that i am install 1.8 comprehensive and 1.806.

I get fatal error 999,after that i ll do reinstallation and patch again(same as above). Fatal error occurs again.

Can anyone help with this case?

P.S. Vista drives me crazy[&:]

i erased everything and re-installed again. the second time it worked (i think i may have screwed up unzipping the patches into the proper directory the first time). i now have two installations, one for stock and one for chs. the chs installation was done at the witp default folder and the stock installation was to c:/matrix games stock. no problems.

fatal errors means you need to uninstall the game then re-install it.
Don't forget to patch it up to the current 1.806 release.
