Agedabia Libya
Decamber 6 1941
1800 Hours
We have been moved to Agedabia to set up defenses and delay the Italian advance north along the coast. We will have dug in by the start of battle and are prepared to defend to the death. We will have two rows of mines so as to protect our front lines.
C CO will hold the north flank with A CO in the center. B CO will hold the southern flank today. Visability is about 650 yards and it is crisp and clear out today. We dont expect the Italians to begin there move until the day cools down some what. They dont like it when the heat and sweat ruins there uniforms looks.
So some time around 1800 hours is when we expect this battle to begin. The enemy will be advancing across mostly open grond. Should be more of a turky shoot today. All our men are eager and anticpating this battle very much. We are ready to put some serious damage on there asses today.
