Through PBEM .... are you able to play Detailed Combat?

If not what type of combat system is in place?

Sadly no, Quick battles are covered, but you don't get a chance to set your units how you want them in a battle situation the AI sets for you.

Ah this is a real shame. I noticed in the appendix it says that you can convert a pbem game to a remote game (if no passwords are set) so I am guessing that you can't revert it back to a pbem? Or is it that detailed combat is just not an option in multiplayer?

As a follow up question, what's the chances of this being possible in the future for FoF/COGEE?
