I downloaded the bman mods as shown on this forum and I unzipped them into their respected folders (NOTE: one of the files in the data folder couldn't be replaced without a password, and the the mod that goes into the main folder came already unzipped so I just moved the folder into the main folder), anyways nothing seems to have changed, at least not to me. Am I doing something wrong?

You need to go into the game's options screen and configure what mods you want to enable/disable.
