I speak very very fluent Spanish![8D] Macg-1 vs. B1bis-2
Saddam is on the march...Dezful wait, and Ahvaz have fallen. Now coming in the Larak oil platforms have also fallen to Iraqi forces. Fighting continues to intensify. Anyone interested in some map images????

Alright, we'll start with the north, and tell me if my John Madden scribble works. I've maintained this resolution in order to protect the perpetrators(that would be us). Holding up top with an advance from Hilabjah toward Kermanshah. A deliberate advance across the low country. Mehran is surrounded and cutoff as are most troops in the vicinity by Iraqi airmobile commandos.

Now for the south, Dezful is taken by fast moving Iraqi armor. An armored confrontation leaves an Iranian Cheiftain brigade broken and retreating, though far from supply. The same is true for small companies of Iranian special forces. Ahvaz has also recently fallen as hundreds of Iraqi tanks prepare to occupy the city to support a mech brigade. Continuing south the Iraqis have advanced to the Karun river. An Iranian fixed-border outpost has been bypassed, sealing off Khorramshar from the north. A naval invasion was successfully launched against the Larak oil platforms.

Wow, thanks for this AAR. I'm pretty new to TOAW, but one of the things that really drew me to it is the ability to model less-gamed events like this. If I want to play out the Eastern Front in WW2 I have a million and one options, but for a lot of really interesting conflicts TOAW seems to be the way to go. So I'll be following this thread carefully. [:)]

Well, unfortunately B1bis has long decided not to continue. But I've struck up another game with a RD member. We're now on turn 4.

Good start to the AAR. Where did you find this scenario?
