I am playing as German Human and it is November 1940. I am trying to make an amphibous landing on Malta. I have three units on landing ships in the fleet box south of Italy. I can not find any way to unload these units onto Malta or any other sea coast hex. How do you get the land units off the landing ships? I assume these units must land on unoccupied hexes?

Can paratroopp units land on a occupied city?

You should be able to land from Central Mediterranean Sea

After you put the units to sea the way to Amph land is on the regular screen NOT the fleet screen. Look to the right and you will find the box for it, haven't done one recently so forget if it is in top part or middle.

Like Twotribes sid you invade from the main screen not the fleet screen.
Click on the hex you want to land on and look in the boxes on the right side of the screen. If you have troops available to invade click on the amphib icon and a pop up box will let you choose which unit to land there.
