France needs only 2 convoys in West Med and the do need one in South China Sea in order to maximize their production.
The Algerian resource needs no convoy, it ships be train across Gibraltar through Spain.

I did not consider shipping the Hanoi resource to Burma via the Burma road and am not sure if that is legal. CWiF does not allow that shipment method.
The African resource does not need a convoy in the West Med, it can land in Spain and rail from there. The West Med convoys ship only Iraq Oil and Hanoi resource normally.

the second italy
I would not risk so many of the few Italian CP, it gives CW/FR a fruit basket of easy pickings during a pre-emptive surprise strike at IT. I would probably just start with one CP in the Italian coast sea area and if a North Africa campaign was called for another one in the East Mediterranean Sea. Red Sea, well very risky and why one in West Mediterranean?
Better for IT to go out with more CP when needed.

simple put ... it give supplies if you want to pick up any unit in africa or east africa .. they can be returned to port .. if you don´t plan to pick up units ..
but you are right .. I will remove the one in west med.

The Burma Road can only be used for moving resources into China, not out. There are other restrictions too, but that one stops what you want to do.

It's worth pointing out on the public forum that the MWiF map has a U. S. resource in Alaska. Hence a convoy up that way.

I thought the USA got 27 CP?
Japan - won't need supply to Truk until 1941. You can keep a few for reserve in case of war with Russia, or for adventures in the Middle East, or good luck in China, or a conservative Chinese set-up that gives you some of the resources free.
France - I use theirs on the 'front line' in the Bay of Biscay and Cape St. Vincent and let the CW haul everything else. Running through the Med is an invitation to lose a lot of CP. I only use two to keep Malta in supply and extract the resource from Cyprus. You can still maximize CW & French production at the same time.
CW - I only run a line through the Bay of Biscay at start. Easier to defend. You give up an extra -1 on an Axis search roll with more than 10 CP present, but the Germans move a box further to get there. With Presence of the Enemy in play, that makes a big difference for surface raids.
Germany - has to decide to either expose CP on set-up, or use a Combined impulse to move them out into the Baltic during Sep/Oct.

Italy - if you want to extract units from the Red Sea you can pick them up out of supply and then they are face-down on the TRS. If you want to extract units from Libya they are in supply as soon as you move out a TRS. You don't need a CP to get max production on the first two turns, 3 resources in Italy makes 2 BP, same as if you bring in the resource from Sardinia. Putting out CP in 1939 only helps the Allied search rolls if you go to war that year.

both usa and japan have reserve cp.
I´m trying to make convoy lines that works for new players ...it need to be simple and work without changes the first couple of turns

Remove 1 CP from West Med (why is it here for ?) and add one to South China Sea to ship the Indochinese RP back home to France.

I would make the Australia --> Canada convoy road pass more to the South, through the Tasman Sea. This uses 1 extra convoy, but put the road out of reach of the Japanese SUBs for most of the way. Here is is far too much exposed, especially the 2 in the first 2 Sea Areas.
Also, I would not put 8 CP in the Faeroes and 8 in the Bay of Biscay, but 16 in the Bay of Biscay. This makes a one and only place to escort and fight instead of 2. The Faeroes is incredibly near the German early bases, and it is a gift you are giving to them by providing 8 targets in the Faeroes. By putting them in the Bay of Biscay you're away from harm for at least a year. By then you'll be able to shift 8 CP back to the Faeroes if you like.
