Nations order

In a multi-player game, is there a way to see in which order the nations are played. In most cases this won't be a problem, but sometimes it may get confusing. When your turn is over the game only says that the files should be sent to "your opponent", but not which one.
Suppose 3 players play 6 major powers. Then a 7th nation enters the war. By using F1 and editing the countries file one can decide who is going to play the new nation, but where in itself will this nation go in the turn-order? Does it automatically go to the last place in the at-war cue, or does it end up close to some country of the same alignment? Is there any other pre-set logic that tells us what player should have the files next time?
If the prompting at the end of ones turn could say "send the files to player #" instead of just "send the files to your opponent", things would be much clearer. [:)]
