Another crashed game. This is getting frustrating - I really want to like this game, but having to deal with crashes 2 or 3 hours into a game isn't very much fun.

I am running on v 1.201 - that is what your window says when I open up "About WW2". How can I get a saved game that is 1.20 when I am running 1.201?

Was your game ongoing from the previous version?  I don't think the latest update was compatible with saved games.  Maybe that is what he was noticing, that the saved game showed a different version?

Go to save game folder
open misc.csv file
row 1 column O stands for game version
in attached file there is 1.20 not 1.201

you can of course change the entry and game should work (but might be weird)
but if the save game is in 1.20 I assume that the patch was not installed properly.

The game was not a continued game. It was a modded scenario (JMass's 1940 mod - but it was his 1.201 version).

If you are saying that the updateof the new version was not proper, I can reinstall it. However, how can I tell that I have updated properly?

it is also weird that you were able to load 1.20 game with your 1.201

best way to check your game version is to make a save game and check the version number
