I have to admit, one of the factors in making my decision to purchase TOAW was seeing this series.  Now ... once I get my hands arond this game I will be looking for some opponents!!

I'm afraid you'll be disappointed then, because its for solo play only [8D]

Disappointed?  HA!  Even better!  Im generally a solo wargammer but this title in general looks to good to pass up on the opportunity to get involved with the pbem community.  Knowing that this series is for solo play makes me want to get into them all that much more.

Thanks again for your work Boonierat.  I will never be disappointed in the efforts others put in to making a great game even better.

It's absolutely incredible that one person could put together such a great game.

A heads-up to those considering starting the series but think it's too complex - in the game notes Boonierat provides a weekly history of the real events of the war. He then gives appropriate US/ARVN missions corresponding to these historic operations. Accomplishment of the weekly missions yields VPs. It makes things very realistic, understandable, and manageable.

I have been especially looking forward to Volume 9. You see, I arrived in country in Volume 9, Turn 17. That's me in hex 87,159: 124 pixels right 48 pixels up. Stay tuned for Volume 10 and you will see me get hit...

Thanks, Stephane, for the great job!

Ranger6, out.

I totally agree with youo HPT! I want to dive into the scenarios but I'm always too busy :( They look like I should be paying for them instead of being free. Cheers.
