4th and 13. As only he can do, Brett throws a TD pass and the Jets defeat the Dolphins 20-14. Yeah, it's a tough division, but Mr. Favre certainly adds an element of excitement to the AFC North.

You meant the AFC East, I'm assuming? [:D] The Jets looked solid, although, really, Miami isn't likely to present much of a test this year. We'll see how they're doing in a few more weeks.

He may be the only current player to do that...but I remember a certain Denver Broncos god who could do it again and again and again....and in fact, didn't he do it at one Superbowl??
John Elway anyone?

Hey stop it!
We here in Wisconsin really don't need to hear anything about how good Brett Farve is. Don't need any more salt being thrown in the wound. [:@]
Anyway, hopefully the Pack will do well tonight, or they may have to call out the National Guard. [;)]

Yes, 18 of 22 for 178 yards and a TD is not too shabby. My faith has been restored in the Packers' commitment to winning, and I'll take my chances on joining "Mr Rodgers' Neighborhood".

It would be nice to have the Packers and the Jets in the Super Bowl.[:D]

No, absolutely not. That would be a nightmare scenario.

All I can gather from this is that 2 (TD) tank destroyer units (the 4th and 13th) called in an air-strike on dolphins for some reason (although the dolphins obviously gave a good account of themselves, bringing down 14 jets) and yet somehow they're considered part of a tough division.
Unless, of course, this has got something to do with an obscure sport [;)]
Cheers, Neilster

Hmmm...in Week One, New England loses their quarterback, and San Diego shuts down their star defender for the season. If Roethlisberger and Manning suffer 'injuries' this week, it becomes obvious the NFL is leading a conspiracy to get Favre to a Super Bowl as a Jet. [:)]

A pact w/ Satan is 5 years max isn't it? Maybe Favre got outta his first one.
Wild Geese is obviously a brilliant individual, possessing sense and good taste.
