I am playing my 1st pbem game of GoA. We have completed our Strategic phase of the Sept/Oct 1914 turn and my opponent has sent me his turn. The game loaded fine and I reviewed the air and naval results without problem. However, when I clicked "OK" on the Naval Results Summary page (the one that tells you who controls which seas) I recieved an "Access violation at address..." Fault. I can get rid of the Fault Notice but the yellow "busy" notice near the top right corner never shuts off and I can't do anything. I've reloaded several times with the same result. I've tried rebooting my computer and turning off my anti-virus software, but no luck.

I suppose you'll want me to send you the saved turn file along with my password. Who do I send this too and do you also require my DirectX Diag file?

I just encountered the identical problem.  ver 1.24 sep 08. File en route.

Thanks for the saves, bug found and fixed. It was a new one I had created in 1.24

Is this bug in every game with the latest patch?

Will there be a fix available soon? Or should I downgrade to the previous version.

Will the fix for this be available soon? This problem is preventing new games started with the 1.24 update from proceeding further.

I just got this error, at the end of the strategic phase as the CP...

I was able to get around this error by loading 1.23, finishing the playback (this time without the error), then saving the game once I am in the activation phase, re-loading 1.24, and then playing from there. A pain, but at least we could continue the game.
