This is another attempt at a Jagged Alliance clone.

There was a demo for this game about a year ago, the game was already released in Europe but haven't heard much about!

I think this is going to be a great game. I played the demo for this and it is quite good although the demo is old and a little beta. Its 3D turn based jagged alliance. My favourite genre and I know there will be a closet following for this game. The article hit on some good features as multiple simultaneous squads in different sectors.
I also did some skin mods in the demo so its modable in that respect. Odd we haven't seen more news on this around here. Whats the release date now? Is Matrix still going to publish this?

Well well, where has this been hiding? Looks very promising and I will almost certainly buy it. Should satisfy my hunger for a sequel to JA2. I have almost given up on JA3 getting released.

There's also another JA game, (JA3) that's based on the Slient Storm engine but, that one isn't scheduled until 2010!

Well, Hired Guns was released here in april and achieved an average rating of 65% (based on 17 reviews, ranging from 38%-80%). The game still has many bugs, a bad AI and even worse balancing. On top of it the dev's obviously refusing to bring further patches.
So if you like the demo and don't encounter any problems, you probably can go for it. But do not expect the final product being any better.

I bought JA2 again when Strategy First released it because that version came with JA2 full source code. I would love to play around with the source (already did a bit), I just don't have enough time!!!

I wonder if there have been any improvements for the english release? If the developer won't support it, that doesn't sound good! Almost all of the developers of the various Matrix games provide excellent support (many for years after release), let's hope this isn't an exception!

Arrr, shiver me timbers! Thar rumor be true! Three score days from now be my guess as to th' date o' release, but thar's no guarantee! Thar devs are workin' on a mighty patch, loaded in like double shot before thar game sees tha light o' day for our release. Never fear, me hearties, the Cap'n has his good eye on this one.
Arrr.

Crap, another 60 days. Xmas release I spose.
I heard they added day night cycles, and got things balanced.
There is no forum or place to check this out even on the development site so I guess its Wait-out til released over.

Is there going to be a new demo? And what demo was Cobb playing?
After playing the current demo(2007) I have to say Strategy First did the right thing pulling the plug on this project.

From Erik's post,
three score days brings you into December-08.
Perhaps by Thansgiving something will be said about this...

(
That's actually closer to the truth here... I _just_ returned from a month and a half early Thanksgiving dinner!)
Anyhow, if Thanksgiving is next week, we all know that xmas is the day after thanksgiving (
don't laugh, look at the decorations in many neighborhoods the next day!), so using the "new math date conversion principle," this should be released by last week, right?
