China War Project

At one time I considered doing a modern campaign in this engine - and I bought War Plan Orange to facilitate it. This has less hard code and a slight improvement in the search engine.
Instead we will implement this in Vassal - a product carried by Matrix at one time. This is less a computer game than a computerized board game - players must implement most of the logic - but the computer helps with display and calculations of some things. This is not really a war game as much as a simulation - based on the most elaborate OB ever done for the area (hundreds of pages which includes intelligence data not really used by the game - such as PLA unit communications codes and names of commanders and sometimes staff officers). It is a professional project - and if you want to participate - send PM. We have a programmer who is a game developer - and a volunteer researcher who does real research at Fort Levenworth. We probably need an artist - but will use official DOD art and imagery failing getting one.
