Supply question

hi there,
in one game ive playing against the AI, ive got some problems qith the supply.

I have conquered all Arkansas except the city. And i sent 2 divisions to Texas. Im conquering all provinces so the supply keep comming to the divisions. They are setup in Normal setting of supply.

But last turn i stop receiving supply. ¿why? the enemy have not cut my lines, and i can write a line from my divisions to a friendly city without moving into enemy territory. of course, i have the money to pay the food...

thats the first question

------------------------

Second one.

what is the condition to keep receiving supplies by land? a line to a city that i own, true?

In the same game, ive conquered Atlanta, Augusta, Athens, southern smokes, etc... My supply line is free of enemies, and ive got the same problem.

Maybe they are too far from a friendly state capital? thats the only explanation ive found...

thanks

Is your supply decreasing or is it remaining the same?  Brigades not located in forts or cities consume 2 supply each turn, possibly more depending on the brigade's weapon type, whether its military group has a Terrible logistical rating, whether it is moving/fighting, etc.

To receive land supply you either have to be adjacent to a friendly territory with no enemy units, or within two provinces of a friendly territory connected to that territory by an uninterrupted (i.e. no enemies along the path) rail-line.  I believe Unrest in a province also blocks supply.

Are your units actually out-of-supply or are they just consuming as much (or more) supply than they are getting?
