Does this new release mean that Commander Europe at War will now be bug free?
Also I saw a comment about screen resolution. On a 1600x1200 screen does this game simply zoom everything up?

I'm not sure I follow - there are very few games (if any) that are bug free. CEAW has been quite stable for me since release. Is there some specific issue you're having that you think is an engine issue that might have been resolved?

Yes, though with driver settings you can force it not to scale and there is also a windowed mode.
