Lots of people playing this one tonight. I played on default to learn the rules (I have had both stratigic command 1 and 2) and pretty much kicked colition butt.
One thing though ..... The german nations were in my way and I can't seem to declare war on them. I'm not particurly bloodthirsty( yea right) but I cannot move through their territory. Grrrr.... Actually I'm not even sure who is with me or against me.
Going to read the manual in bed. Nighty nighty.

greetings, for me when least the best way to attack prussia (berlin) is saxony (leipzig), you even can bombard on first turns when wagon move the artillery, the other prussian capitol is another thing, if you play the AI opponent maybe there will be few russians, but if you play human opponent in koenisberg will be decided a well done defense with mix between prussian and russian troops from riga, koenisberg is the main objective and a determined allied player with russian support troops can do much damage to france troops, german states i think may join france on 1808 onwards, i do not know about it, but having them neutral makes an potential assault on france with combined allied troops more difficult to coordinate british and prussian/russians, anyway i think it is ok settled maybe i prefer if game engine allow to declare war on pro-french or pro-allied minors as the "pro" major faction,
