Liberia setup AI
Liberia Forces
2-2 INF
Liberia has one basic setup:
* Capital defence: Is just as the name suggests a setup where the Liberian
land unit is setup to defend Monrovia.
Liberia has one extreme setup:
* Marauder defence: Is just as the name suggests a setup where the one of the Liberia unit is set up to raise mayhem before Liberia is beaten. The List of targets is: Sierra Leone perhaps continuing into French Guinea.
Declaration of war
Given a Western allies declaration of war and JP/GE control of Liberia OR a GE/IT/JP declaration of war with and US/CW control of Liberia the suggested reasoning for the AI could be as below.
Threats to guard against:
* Threat of paradrop on/close to Monrovia
* Threat of invasion on/close to Monrovia
* Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Sierra Leone
* Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Ivory Coast
* Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from French Guinea
* Threat of having the land unit disrupted
Good hopes:
* Chance of intervention from controlling power
* Chance to try to conquer Sierra Leone/ French Guinea
* Chance to try to step on facedown allied unit(s)
* Chance to try to step on facedown axis unit(s)
Threat of paradrop on/close to Monrovia
IF the Weather is Storm or Blizzard the no risk of paradrop
IF any of the countries at war has a:
Organized ATR AND
it’s in supply or can be put in supply AND
the ATR has range to Monrovia/within three hex from the capital or can be put in range of it by naval transport AND
there is a organized PARA AND
it’s in supply or can be put in supply AND
the PARA has range to ATR or can be put in range of it AND
the PARA and the ATR belongs to countries that can cooperate AND
the chance of a successful paradrop is > 20 %
THEN
Threat of paradrop on/close to Monrovia
Threat of invasion on/close to Monrovia
IF the Weather is not Fine or Rain then there is no risk of invasion
IF any of the countries at war has a:
Organized TRS/AMPH/SCS AND one of A or B
A)
it’s in supply or can be put in supply AND
it has range to Gulf of Liberia AND
there is a organized LandUnit AND
the LandUnit it’s in supply or can be put in supply AND
the LandUnit and the transporting unit can cooperate AND
the transporting unit can transport the LandUnit AND
the LandUnit can invade from the transporting unit AND
the LandUnit is on a costal hex in Cape Verde Basin Cost OR stack with the transporting unit AND
the chance of a successful invasion is > 20 %
B)
It’s in the Cape Verde Basin the AND
there is a organized LandUnit stack with the transporting unit AND
the LandUnit can invade from the transporting unit AND
the chance of a successful invasion is > 20 %
THEN
Threat of invasion on/close to Monrovia
Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Sierra Leone
IF any of the countries at war has
A organized LandUnit AND
it’s in Sierra Leone AND
it can reach Monrovia in two impulses AND
it’s not blocked by ZOC.
THEN
Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Sierra Leone
Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Ivory Coast
Same as Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Sierra Leone but they are in Ivory Coast
Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from French Guinea
Same as Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Sierra Leone but they are in French Guinea
Threat of having the land unit disrupted
IF the Weather is Storm or Blizzard there is no risk of having the land unit disrupted
IF any of the countries at war has A or B
A)
A organized air unit AND
the unit has tactical factors AND
it’s in supply or can be put in supply AND
it has range to the hex where the land unit is planed to be placed AND
the chance of a successful ground strike is > 30 %
B)
A organized ART unit AND
it’s in supply or can be put in supply AND
it has adjacent to the hex where the land unit is planed to be placed AND
the chance of a successful ground strike is > 30 %
THEN
There is risk of having the land unit disrupted
When a setup is used:
* The Capital defence
Is consider to be used when A, B, C, D or E OR when the AI wants
A) Threat of invasion on/close to Monrovia from Gulf of Liberia
B) Threat of paradrop on/close to Monrovia
C) Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Sierra Leone
D) Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from Ivory Coast
E) Threat of enemy land units entering Liberia from French Guinea
* The Marauder defence
Is consider to be used when X and A, B, C and D
-- Sierra Leone A
A) Sierra Leone is controlled/conquered by the enemy side
B) There is no enemy landunit in Freetown
C) The Liberia 2-2 INF can reach Freetown in one impulse
D) The major power controlling Liberia is at war the major power controlling Sierra Leone or the major power controlling Sierra Leone is at war with Liberia
X) The enemy can’t directly rail/move or transport a unit to the hex that the major power controlling Liberia want to reach and they can’t block the land move and the chance of a successful ground strike on the 2-2 INF is less than 30
