Once again.....I'm changing computers.......and before I take some 2 weeks of trying and failing to reinstall CHS.......I wondered if I could just drag and drop an Install from another computer onto the new......?

If you have one officially installed, working copy of WitP on the new machine you can have an unlimited amount of additional installs on the same machine in different directories. So basically yes it should work.
