i am running spwaw and the games unexpededly hangs at a random point. both ingame and in unit selection. I am runnin gwindows xp home and have tried all versions of spwaw and it always does the same thing. please help

Try running the game directly from the mech.exe file. This bypasses the autorun menu. And we'll go from there.

What are your system spec, which version are you running, when and what was the last full install of the game.

256mb ram
40 gb hd
windows xp home
running ver 6.1
last full install was 5.0 or 5.1

i cant download anything from the site it keeps saying that it cant find the ftp site

bad luck on my part i guess that sites down as well. it was up a few days ago though hmmm any other sites or help would be much appreciated

Keep trying its been an on again off again situation on that site, -problems in that country may be causing problem. May I suggest you go down the forum a little further and lookin the spwaw hall of fame for other support sites which may also have downloads available.....

Do you have virus protection scheduled to run at a certain time?

Make sure command and control (C&C) is off in the preference screen, it's incompatible with XP.
