Hi there!

I am new to GOA and I really like the simple yet subtle gameplay. I have several questions that still persist even after searching the forums:
2 Can I land at Gallipolli and if yes: how?
2. Is there a possibility to shuffle all HQ units or artillery pieces to the tops of my stacks?

1. You need control over the Eastern Med (and every seazone between the port you're shipping from) and you need an activated unit in the port to invade another port. The attack might be repulsed if there is a garrison in Gallipoli.
2. Not that I know off, but aren't HQ units on top normally?

Thanks a lot, I somehow missed activating the unit in port When i assess damage after an attack phase I leave my stacks in total disorder - so a "HQ on top" or "arty on top" button would be great.

OK, I sent an activated USMC to Gallipolli and they fared better than their Briton colleagues. Unfortunately I only see the little "successful" message. During the next impulses Gallipolli is still Ottoman and when the last impulse is played the game automatcally notifies me "leaving guns of august" and I am back at the menu.

Is this a once in a lifetime bug or is it a known "feature"?

Edit: OK, I somehow won the game the very same round and thereby triggered a bug that I see is fixed with 1.24b3

Right-click on the stack to shuffle units.

Thanks for the help naskra, but I figured that one out *g* My problem is that looking for artillery becomes the proverbial search for the needle in the infantry stack, same with the HQs. I would think it to be a lot of help if there was a button that automatically shuffled HQ or arty to the top. It would make it easier to plan an attack and put less stress on my right middle finger

Finding Arty and HQ's is a pain in the butt -- good point. It might be nice to shuffle it to the top so they are easier to find.
