EIA Vs CoG

Can anyone tell me the difference/s between EIA & CoG?

Basically I have foung COG was very top heavy in logistics for your country and you could quite easily get bogged down in trying to sort out whether you have too much food or not enough wine etc.
Some players like the extra challenge though of handling logistics.
EIA is much more simplified in it's economics.
Having played both I personally prefer EIA.

While COG offers multiplayer support for up to eight players and an innovative system for monthly strategic turns and 20-minute tactical turns, there is unnecessary complexity. Some players like to micromanage, many do not. COG Emporer's Edition is due out shortly which simplifies the economics. I may try it, I don't know. It still appears too busy for me. I prefer the classic boardgame feel of EiA.
